Esta reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o causa um by-pass duodenal, e \u00e9 usada quando a reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o de Billroth I n\u00e3o \u00e9 poss\u00edvel, como em gastrectomias distais mais extensas (ou seja, mais do que o antro \u00e9 ressecado).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o de Billroth II tem uma al\u00e7a aferente (segue para o duodeno) e um al\u00e7a eferente (segue distalmente).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para uma reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o de Billroth II, a anastomose jejunal pode ser realizada em um padr\u00e3o pr\u00e9-c\u00f3lico ou transc\u00f3lico, isoperist\u00e1ltico ou antiperist\u00e1ltico. Diferen\u00e7as funcionais entre esses padr\u00f5es n\u00e3o foram documentadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uma das principais vantagens da t\u00e9cnica de reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o de Billroth II \u00e9 que ela permite um procedimento cir\u00fargico relativamente simples, com uma anastomose a menos em compara\u00e7\u00e3o a reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o em Y de Roux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No entanto, tamb\u00e9m h\u00e1 algumas desvantagens na t\u00e9cnica de reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o de Billroth II. Uma das principais preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es \u00e9 o risco de refluxo biliar para o est\u00f4mago ou at\u00e9 mesmo para o es\u00f4fago.
